This rifle is an ex dragoon, made in early 1922 at the Izhevsk factory. This was marked OXP, in the same fashion as the Cossack rifles were marked with KA3. All that is known is the first 2500 to 3000 Dragoons were marked in this fashion early 1922. The Russian Civil War was still going on, this one is serial 554, and the other i have in my possession is 1809. The known serials range from 23 to 2381. The tang date is 1921, but marked in the same fashion as Tula made tangs are, with 921R.

This particular rifle has a 45 and 50 refurbishment date, indicating its been refurbished twice by the Soviets. This is in the 91/30 configuration.
