Tula

1907 Carbine

It seems to be a very Unique piece, it seems that the front of the Handguard is plastic and the rest of the Stock has Stones/Metal Engraving on it, and the front sight is gone, (due to the old owner), and the rear sight, for some reason seems to be the M91 sight, (no idea why) and it has the Imperial Russia eagle marking next to the Peter the Great/Tula factory stamp, and also a Black powder proof mark. Seems to have been made for somebody important within the Imperial Russian Government, I don't have much extra information on it so any additional info/help would be appreciated. Also I could be wrong about this being a 1907 Carbine.

I'm pretty sure it's not 1907 Carabine. Those were made exclusively by Izhevsk as far as I know. Also rear sight was different on them. I would say it's most likely civilian adaptation of standard 1891 mosin shortened and personalized for hunting purposes long after WW1.
