LGS had this surprise for $130 so I snagged that. Looks like a fairly typical wartime M91/30: Izhevsk receiver made in 1943, everything except the bolt matches. Bolt itself is a mixmaster (Tula bolt head, post-1928 Izhevsk body, not sure of its date). Rear right receiver wall was not cut as an angle (lol), nothing on the tang.

Based on the bolt feel and wear/rust patterns being consistent, I do not think this gun was given a full refurbishment by the Soviets after WWII, or at least not reblued. I also do not see any signs of any recent modifications, although the cleaning rod was missing (this is a modern repro). Surprisingly nice for a wartime gun though, this will probably be my main shooter especially since my Finnish M91 handguard's looser than I'd like.
