I'm not sure
Izhevsk
Finnish M91

February 25, 2023

(Photos taken with cell phone so apologies) This is an Imperial Mosin made at the Izhevsk facility in either 1903 or 1913-the year's not on the tang, just a "3" so those are my best guesses based on the photos.
All of the parts appear to be original, but the magazine and bolt are mismatched and I presume donors from another rifle. The front sight appears to be of normal height, while the Konovalov rear is remarked in meters and cut for a 200m step. There's no D mark so it's not chambered for the Finnish 53r loads.
The stock is spliced, and the barrel is a replacement made by Tikka, dated 1942. Handguard looks original but had some minor wear around the nails (not shown-I dabbed on some clear wood glue to be safe). The barrel bands are held in by nails-the front nail must be removed for disassembly but I can unscrew the rear band and pull it over the nail, if you're curious.
Let me know if there's anything I'm missing.
Edit: My best current guess is that this rifle was made in 1903.

It looks to be one of the Finnish models by the SA mark and the T on the barrel
Whoops, messed up the name lol, but I'll leave it as is. Also sorry about the lighting, I took photos on a few different days and picked the best ones I had.
