Title
My 1895 Tula captured by Austria-Hungary and then sold to Finland.
Description
Tula 1895 receiver tang date, Austrian captured (OEWG partial stamp),... Finnish VKT barrel, D chamber, 1940 dates barrel. May or may not be original stock, although the receiver date was imprinted into the wood over the years... Came to me with what I believe is Austrian sling swivels and brown leather sling, 1939 dated. Has M or W carved into the side of butt.. Also has H 5 V stamped into the stock, forward of the trigger guard. Numbers are Finnish matched, very smooth action. Has receiver serial number at 10 o'clock and another serial number that's meaning is unknown to me right below it at the 9 o'clock position on receiver. Has Remington rear sight spring. It's a very accurate rifle with ppu 182 grain fmj... Palm size accuracy at 100 yards most of the time.
